TI Cycles launches ‘BSA GO’ store in Kolkata | INRnews

Kolkata, India, December 04, 2007 - TI Cycles of India, part of the Rs.8,500 crore Murugappa Group, announced the launch of their ‘BSA GO’ store, a unique bicycle, fitness equipment and infant products store in Kolkata. The 1080 sq.ft, ‘BSA GO’ store is located at, 83, S.P.Mukherjee Road, Kolkata 700026. This speciality store offers a complete range of Hercules & BSA, brands of bicycle, fitness equipment and infant products.

The store was inaugurated by Mr. Arun Alagappan, Head Retail, TI Cycles of India.

On the inauguration of the Kolkata store, Mr. G Ramprasad, President, TI Cycles of India said, “The ‘BSA Go’ Store is a contemporary outlet and caters to today’s customer’s shopping expectations. It aims to be the preferred shopping destination for bicycles, fitness equipment and infant products in the country by offering an attractive ambience, wide product range and efficient customer service.”

With its entry in the infant category, the company is moving to a different space and heading towards basic mobility of various other products. The market opportunity is huge and TI Cycles is spreading it’s wings to tap the potential of the retail boom the country is facing. TI cycles will be capitalising on the opportunity and plans to open 100 stores by end of 2009. Presently, TI Cycles has 16 stores, including the one inaugurated in Kolkata today.
