Rs 817 crore project to augment water supply in Hyderabad approved | INRnews

New Delhi, India, November 27, 2007 - The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs today gave its approval for the Krishna Drinking Water Supply Project Phase-II for augmentation of water supply in Hyderabad city at a cost of Rs.817.62 crore. The expenditure incurred up to 31.03.2006 on the project is Rs.211.12 crore. Therefore, the cost for reimbursement under JNNURM will Rs.606.50 crore and release of Additional Central Assistance to the extent of Rs.212.275 crore being the share of the Government of India, in the manner prescribed under the guidelines.
