The Punjab and Haryana High Court as cleared the way for Parasvanath Developers to sign an MOU with the Chandigarh Housing Board for development of the Rajiv Gandhi Chandigarh Technology park (RGCTP). The project envisages the development of an integrated residential, commercial and technology park on 129 acres of land. The Rs 821 crore award to Parasvanath was challenged in court by Emaar, the petition has now been dismissed.
Haryana revenue and irrigation minister, Ajay Singh Yadav has said that land records in Haryan are to be made available online by August 15. Out of 7,081 villages, records of 6,933 villages were computerised and the rest would be completed soon. The move is being made to allow consumers easy access to these records and also ensure transparency in the departments functioning.
