Foreign airlines to fly to Calicut from Q1 2008 | INRnews
Calicut, India, November 06, 2007 - There has been a hundred percent increase in international flights to and from the state of Kerala including Calicut in the last three years. During the recent visit of the Minister for Civil Aviation Shri Praful Patel to Calicut, the Minister had announced that operation of foreign airlines to and from Calicut would be started from the first quarter of 2008. In the interest of more reliable connectivity to the state of Kerala, Air India will soon provide stand by aircraft for its Kerala operation.
