The Minister of State for Urban Development Shri Ajay Maken in a written reply told Lok Sabha today that according to the information received from the State Governments, the Repeal Act of 1999 is enforced in the States/UTs of Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Orissa, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, NCT of Delhi, Pondicherry and Chandigarh. The Minister said that State Governments of Kerala and Tamil Nadu follow their own law for land ceiling.
