Omaxe to set up township in Uttaranchal

Dehra Dun, October 17, 2006 : Delhi-based real estate developer Omaxe Ltd is to set up a township in Uttaranchal at a cost of Rs.500 crore. 2,200 residential flats are to come up on 46 acres of land of the Omaxe Riviera. The flats will range from 2-4 bedrooms. The township will have facilities such as a club, swimming pool, food-court, multiplex and mall.

The township is located in the Pantnagar-Rudrapur industrial area, in close proximity to the industrial estate that will be home to over 300 companies including majors like Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto. Omaxe will reserve 60% of the apartments in the township for staff of these companies.
