Delhi to Gurgaon metro land acquisition to begin
October 18, 2006 : The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) is to put efforts to accelerate land acquisition for the Delhi-Gurgaon Metro stretch. The land acquisition will start under the emergency clause according to HUDA administrator SP Gupta.
The total expenditure for the 15-km Qutab Minar to Gurgaon stretch is estimated at Rs.1,400 crore. Eight stations are planned on the elevated line, ad platforms are built to accomodate eight-coach trains.
