Suzuki-Nissan JV to set up $1.5 bn car plant in Manesar, Haryana
A Suzuki-Nissan JV proposal to set up a 350,000-car unit in Manesar, Haryana has been submitted to the government.
The export-oriented venture will cost US$1.5 bn and can start operations within two years.
The companies are seeking support for the proposal including the set up of appropriate infrastructure in the area.
