Prestige Group to expand development of retail malls in South India

The Prestige Group, a Bangalore based real estate developer, is to develop over 7 malls at an investment of Rs. 300 crore each. Buoyed by the success of its Forum mall in Bangalore, the company plans to invest over Rs.2,500 crore for mall development in South India alone.

The Forum is a place one can go to for almost anything one wants to buy. The mall has everything from shoes to exercise equipment, from home furnishings to electronic goods, from books to video games! The crowd puller Landmark that houses everything from soft toys to office stationery to CDs, is a prime example of the complete experience that The Forum provides to its visitors. Food outlets include Transit, KFC, Pizza Hut and the first McDonald's in the South. Global brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Westside, Soch, Isis, Mustard, Weekender, Provogue, Wrangler, and Benetton are housed at The Forum.

The Forum houses a multiplex, PVR, with 11 screens showing the latest movies. The building management systems, close circuit security, computerized parking management systems, ATM machines, 100% generator backup, centralized air conditioning and line-in-music completes the loop, to offer a world-class 'view of the future' ambience.

The Prestige Group has plans of opening up another Forum at the site of their much awaited new township, the Prestige Shantiniketan. The group is also planning a Forum Value Mall in Whitefield housing factory outlets of all leading brands.
