Nokia telecom SEZ to be set up in Sriperumbudur, Chennai
The Nokia Telecom SEZ coming up in Sriperumbudur outside Chennai will be ready by the end of next year. The facility will house key suppliers of Nokia as well as 20,000 workers according to Nokia's director of operations Jukka Lehtela.
With a number of manufacturers setting up in Sriperumbudur, it has become critical for the government to develop infrastructure such as roads, schools, hospitals, and residential housing facilities in the area.
