Gems and jewellery SEZ to come up in Kerala

Kochi, September 25, 2006: The Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) is to develop a gems and jewellery SEZ on 25 acres of land at the KINFRA Hitech Park in Kalamassery. KINFRA plans to provide land and infrastructure such as power, communication and water supply while a private sector developer would build the facilities. Aerens Goldsouk and Gitanjali Gems are amongst those reported to be interested in participation in the project.
