Bangalore real estate - Bidadi Township to be ready in three years
INRnews had reported on Aug 22nd about the Bangalore township projects under development by the Bangalore Metropolitan Region Development Authority (BMRDA). Work on the Bidadi township project appears to be gaining momentum. The township is planned on 9.685 acres of land and is located 39km from Bangalore city and 4 km from Bidadi on the Bangalore-Mysore highway.
BMRDA Commissioner Sudhir Krishna has recently said that the Bidadi township would be developed within three years on a public-private partnership model. The process for selecting developers has also begun.
The Bidadi Township will be close to Electronics City which now hosts over 30,000 workers. It will also be close to the KIDB industrial estates at Harohalli. It is planned as a residential-cum-work environment that will attract people to stay there and also help decongest Bangalore city.
Other townships planned include Ramanagar, Sathanur, Solur and Nandagudi. The townships would be connected via the satellite town ring road and intermediate town ring road as well as radial roads.
The Bidadi township would come up in the area comprising of the villages of Byramangala, Bannigiri, Hosur, K.G. Gollarapalya, Kanchugaranahalli, Aralalasandra and Kempaiahnapalya Kaval.
