Apex CoVantage Opens New Facilities in Hyderabad and Chennai | INRnews

Herndon, VA, September 25, 2006 : Apex CoVantage, a leading global knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) company, announced the opening of two new facilities in the southern Indian cities of Hyderabad and Chennai to accommodate its expanding business providing GIS (geospatial information services) solutions for organizations in the electric, gas, rail, telecommunications, and water utility markets, as well as local government.

“These new facilities will greatly expand Apex CoVantage’s capacity to meet the GIS needs of our growing client base in the construction, engineering, manufacturing, telecom and utility industries,” said Kevin Dougherty, President of Apex Engineering Solutions. “Our Indian engineering teams, working in these ultra-modern facilities, can provide dedicated engineering support during day or night hours in North America, Europe or Asia, quickly adding engineering capacity and freeing up staff for our clients.”

Apex will use these facilities to support services in engineering, GIS data conversion, CAD, work order posting and engineering data maintenance. These two facilities will give Apex extra capacity for up to 400 employees to support new and existing customer programs.
