Plots vanish in Ludhiana integrated township

Within minutes of "bhoomi puja", an integrated township promoted by Akmepolis in Ludhiana sold ten plots. The project covering 76 acres of land, is estimated at R.250 crores and is located on the Ludhiana-Chandigarh road, 7 kms from the city.

According to group chairman and managing director, Anil Nanda, 43% of the land is intended to be maintained as open space. Apart from plots of 7 different sizes, there will also be designer villas and apartments. Commercial space will also be earmarked for markets, malls, multiplexes and superstores.

AkmePolis is also planning a 220-acre township on the Delhi-Ludhiana highway at a cost of Rs.550 crores. This project will involve foreign direct investment by an equal partnership with an Ireland-based company, Cathedral Financial Consultants.
