Over 2 million new houses required in Delhi by 2021

Minister of State for Urban Development Ajay Maken said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha that 2.4 million new houses will be required in Delhi by 2021 to meet growing population needs. This includes covering an existing backlog of houses as well as replacement of dilapidated structures.
