Microsoft opens new building in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, August 30, 2006: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy inaugurated a new 395,000 square feet facility on the 50-acre Microsoft campus at Gacchibowli. The new facility will host the Microsoft global delivery centre and Microsoft global services India teams.
The Microsoft campus can seat 3,000 people. Speaking at the function, Srini Koppolu, Managing Director of MSIDC, said ‘The new building reinforces our continued commitment to Andhra Pradesh and our long-term investments in India. All the six business units of Microsoft in India are making strategic and innovative contributions to Microsoft’s global business growth and helping India take a leadership position in the emerging knowledge economy’.
