Empee Hilton to come up in Chennai
The Chennai based Empee Group is setting up a five-star deluxe hotel in Chennai at an investment of Rs. 185 crore. The hotel is to be operated and managed by Hilton Corporation.
The hotel is located 5 kms from the airport and close to Chennai's developing IT hub on the Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR). It will have 253 guest rooms, an all day dining restaurant, two specialty restaurants, a 1,000 seater ballroom, meeting rooms and a nightclub. Construction has begun and the project is expected to be completed in 2008.
UK based Wimberley, Allison, Tong and Goo (WATG) are the lead Architects.
